Cyclic Sequencing Activated Sludge (CSAS)
Envirocare’s CSAS tank is designed to operate cyclically through aeration, sedimentation, and effluent draw. As such, each CSAS tank is used for the dual functions of aeration and sedimentation, thus eliminating the use of an external secondary clarifier or sedimentation tank.
The functions of aeration, sedimentation and effluent draw are all controlled automatically by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).
